You're so close to Disney, you can easily head home for a cooling swim or lunch, then go back in the afternoon or evening for the spectacular firework displays. We can even give you a shortcut to avoid the traffic. Two sets of lights and you are right there in the heart of the magic.
Any closer and you'd need an attraction ticket to stay!!
Universal is just a 20 minute drive away and the rest of the endless attractions are all within easy reach.
The Indian Creek development is a peaceful community with a pleasant mix of both vacation rentals and permanent residents.
It's a welcome haven from the attractions, yet close enough to be convenient for a wide choice of retail options and endless restaurants.

How close is Disney?
We're on the doorstep! Seriously, any closer and you'd need a ticket!
Animal Kingdom is the closest park to us and it's 4 miles away. It takes about 6 minutes to drive there, depending on the two sets of lights being on red or green!
Epcot and Hollywood Studios are both about 10-12 minutes and Magic Kingdom is about 12-15 minutes.
We have a great shortcut that uses the Disney back roads and avoids the major highways. A terrific timesaver when the roads are busy!
How Close is Universal
Universal Studios and the ever expanding Wizarding World of Harry Potter is just 16 miles away and takes around 25 minutes. It's a very easy route along the I4 Interstate.
Where's the nearest grocery store
The closest grocery store is in Formosa Village which is just a mile away. It can be quite expensive though on some items, so it's great for grabbing a few last minute items.
There's a Target Superstore in the Rolling Oaks Retail Park and also a Publix Grocery Store in the Town Center at Orange Lake complex, both are opposite each other and just 3 miles away.
There's also a 24 hour Wal-Mart SuperCenter about 6 miles away.
Where's the nearest beach
Florida's glorious coastline offers endless palm tree lined sandy beaches and is just an hours drive away. The closest beach to us is Cocoa Beach over on the East Coast, just below Daytona - one of the few beaches you can still drive on and perfect for building sandcastles!
If you're planning on a beach day, just ask us for options - we have tons of them!
How close are restaurants?
The list is endless!!! The Formosa Gardens Village is a mile away and home to TGI Friday, Carbbas Italian Grill, Giordano's Italian, Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel, Wild Wings Cafe and China Palace.
Then just along the US-192 Highway you'll find Bonefish Grill, Chuys Mexican, Texas Roadhouse, Joes Crabshack, Orlando Ale House, Applebees, Logans Roadhouse, Bahama Breeze, Longhorne Steakhouse, Sweet Tomatoes, Olive Garden, Shulas Burgers and Panera Bread.

Do we need a car
We would definitely recommend having your own vehicle. There are lots of shuttle services around if you want a day or night without driving, but generally your own transport will give you much more freedom to come and go as you please and allows you to explore a little further.
